Print receipts and invoices

Give customers a readable record of the sale and test the printer you intend to use before a busy shift.

Open the saved sale

Complete the sale first, then use its receipt or invoice view. For an older sale, find the saved record by its reference, customer or date. Confirm the products, quantities and payment status before giving it to the customer.

  1. Connect the intended printer to the device using its supported setup.
  2. Open a saved sale and choose the available print action.
  3. In the browser or printer dialog, select the correct printer, paper size and orientation.
  4. Check the preview for clipped names, totals or footer information.
  5. Print one copy and confirm it can be read, including longer product names.

Where your browser supports it, its print dialog can also save a PDF. That is a browser capability, not a promise that every printer or phone has the same options.

Use the device you already have

You can start using the software without an expensive dedicated POS terminal. Physical receipts, barcode scanning and external card collection may involve separate equipment. Printer compatibility depends on the device, browser, connection and printer; test that combination rather than assuming universal support.

If something is cut off

Check paper size, margins, browser scale and the selected receipt layout. Try the saved invoice view for a larger document. Keep the original sale reference when asking for support, and describe the device and printer model without sending private customer details unnecessarily.

Printed receipts reflect your configured business information. Inventix does not certify country-specific fiscal hardware or legal invoice compliance. Confirm local requirements before relying on a layout for tax documentation.
